NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE/DETOUR
Weather permitting, the Blount County Highway Department will close a section of Morganton Rd near box #3007 from Honeysuckle to County Farm on Tuesday, January 22nd from 7 am to 5 pm to replace a cross drain. Detour signage is in place so that you can plan your route accordingly.

Blount County and the City of Maryville have partnered with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration to embark on a planning process to result in the improvement of approximately 2.3 miles of Morganton Road from it’s intersection with Foothills Mall Drive to the intersection of William Blount Drive.
